Infants

The first year of a child’s life is a critical time of growth and development. Infants require a high level of quality care and love. Each child is unique and develops in his/her own special way. Our Infant Program provides exceptional care for infants as young as 6 weeks old to 12 months. A healthy balance between “tummy time”, one-on-one attention, and happy play is maintained while the teachers strive to preserve the family schedule for eating and sleeping. Songs, reading and visual techniques are utilized by the caregivers daily.

Nursing mothers are welcome at any time and parents are invited to visit their infants during the day. Reports are sent home daily which list each aspect of your little treasure’s day; when he/she ate, slept, had a diaper change, etc.

Our staff is trained in Infant/Toddler appropriate practices and understand infant developmental milestones. They are also CPR/First Aid Certified. Continuing education takes place in regular intervals throughout the year. We maintain a ratio of a maximum of 4 infants to 1 staff with an assistant as needed.
